Great Artifacts of Thunder Hall

From World of Charun

Not only Mórail corpses were left behind when the greatest Irintharin realm of them all; Thunder Hall fell in 908 III. Riches beyond imagination, millenia old relics and valuable artifacts were abandoned by the few who managed to escape with their lives intact - due the vast majority present chose death and honour instead of flight. The once magnificent kingdom soon found itself seized and conquered by Urmen and their commander; the Ancient Demon of Thunder Hall.

Soon after the calm returned and the gates of Thunder Hall remained shut, with all the riches left within - perhaps never again to be seen.

A Southern Narghali knight by the name Logan Ironarm was the first one to attempt rescue of some of the most important relics. He managed in 909 III to locate the legendary helmet of kings, Thuwanil, before dying in combat with the near-divine demon guarding the depths.

In the following year, 910 III, another knight by the name of Gregori Coldaxe ventured into the fallen realm with the goal of salvaging the most important artifacts. He succeeded with locating all of the items today known as the Great Artifacts of Thunder Hall, as well as with bringing them out of the depths. Legend says that several of Coldaxe's companions died to the demon guardian - a fate that nearly caught Coldaxe as well, would it not have been for the helmet of kings, Thuwanil. Apparently it healed his wounds as he lay bleeding, allowing him to escape while carrying all the artifacts and dragging two fallen comrades behind him with a rope around his waist.
